The Baloch Human Rights Council (BHRC) has published its latest monthly newsletter, documenting the cases of enforced disappearance and extra-judicial killings in Balochistan in the month of March 2022. According to the BHRC newsletter, at least 27 people were subjected to enforced disappearance whilst 11 were extra-judicially murdered by the state security forces and its auxiliary militant organizations.
The data collected by the BHRC is as follows:
- March 7, 2022
Mullah Sadal, son of Ali of Awaran district, was killed by the death squad members affiliated with the Pakistani army in Windar, district Lasbela, Balochistan. The army had killed his cousins Siraj, son of Ahmad and Khaliqdad son of Ahmad, on October 6, 2016. The same squad also killed another relative, Moosa, son of Nazar Muhammad, on June 18 2016.

Armed persons believed to be members of a death squad forcefully abducted a peon of Turbat University. Mr Shaiq Ahmad, who became the latest victim of enforced disappearance in March, is a resident of Shapuk, district Kech, Balochistan.

Locals claim that at least a dozen persons have been killed by drone attacks in the Kech District of Balochistan, while the military claims that these persons were armed insurgents.
Two students of Turbat residential college who the security forces have picked up were named Salman, son of Ghafoor and Khalid, son of Muneer. They are the residents of Gomazi village, district Kech, Balochistan

An unidentified and mutilated dead body was recovered in Quetta District, Balochistan. The relatives of the disappeared persons had identified such bodies as their loved ones on previous occasions.

The security forces raided the house of journalist Ghulam Farooq Jatoi, and he was picked up. However, his whereabouts are unknown to his relatives.
An 80-year-old man Omid Ali has been reported ‘missing’ from Gwaniki village after being detained allegedly by the Pakistani forces in Balochistan’s Kech district.

Abdullah, son of Ibrahim from Kunshkalat, Tump, district Kech has been abducted by the security forces accompanied by the local death squad.
- March 16, 2022
The mutilated dead body of Abdul Malik, son of Nazeer, a resident of Buleda, district Kech was founded. The security forces abducted him on February 26, 2022.
- March 17, 2022
After raiding his house, Seth Noor Bakhsh son of Bahram from the village Segak, district Kech has been abducted by the security forces.
In another incident, the security forces picked up a resident of Babu Mahella, Kharan, Shah Fahad, son of Patwari Mahmood Khan. However, his family is not aware of his whereabouts.
In another incident, a resident of Balgatar, district Kech, Dr Hashim Noor, was kidnapped by the members of a death squad operating in the area.

From Turbat town (District Kech), four students who the members of a death squad abducted were named Akber, son of Aslam, Ghulam Jan, son of Saleh Muhammad, Naeem, son of Rahmat and Shafi, son of Dildar. They are the residents of Shahrak village.
- March 19, 2022
The para-military force FC fired on a vehicle and killed Sibkatullah, son of Ilyas, in the Parom area of Panjgur district.
Three missing persons have been released after several months of disappearances. They were identified as Qadir Kanwal, a teacher and a social reforms campaigner, Irfan Zehri, a social activist, and Bilal Jattak, residents of tehsil Zehri Khuzdar District, Balochistan.
Two brothers, Musaddiq and Abdul Aziz, sons of Muhammad Asa, went missing from Gwadar District of Balochistan. Their relatives blame the security forces for their disappearances.
In another incident, Shah Murad, son of Shakar of Sangabad village of district Kech was off-loaded from a Quetta bound bus by the members of a death squad affiliated with the army. The security forces did not disclose his whereabouts.
Two persons, Ziaullah, son of Babu Noorullah and Din Muhammad, son of Muhammad Ishaq, have been abducted by the members of a death squad operating in the area.

The mutilated bodies of two victims of enforced disappearances have been identified as Abdul Wahid and Muhammad Iqbal, son of Muhammad Yaqoob of district Khuzdar. They have been under unannounced custody of security forces since 2021.
- March 23, 2022
Gulzeb, son of Ibrahim of Killi Shabo (Quetta), went missing, and his relatives believe that the security forces picked him up.
While on March 23, another man Akhtar s/o Afzal was arrested and moved to an unknown location in the Wadh area of Khuzdar district.
The death squad members picked up Ghani s/o Lashkari from the Panjgur district.

Persons picked up by security forces from Hub (District Lasbela, Balochistan) were named Asadullah Bugti and Fateh, son of Zabad. The father of Asadullah has been in the undeclared custody of security forces for the last 11 years.
- March 29, 2022
Muslim son of Akram from Mand, district Kech went missing. His relatives blame security forces for his disappearance.
- March 30, 2022
Two students belonging to Balochistan were picked up from a tea stall in Lahore by armed persons in civilian clothes but believed to be the security personnel. The victims were named Adam, son of Muhammad Ali and Imran, son of Shabir Ahmad.
