Baloch Human Rights Council (BHRC) has announced its programme regarding the upcoming 49th session of the Human Rights Council (28 FEBRUARY – 1 APRIL 2022) in Geneva.

According to Samad Baloch, General Secretary of the organization, BHRC will hold a demonstration in front of the UN building on 16th of March 2022 to protest human rights violations in Balochistan and the increased number of enforced disappearances happening in Balochistan.

Besides intervening on items 3 and 4 during the general debate of the UNHRC, BHRC representatives will submit two memorandums to the UNHCR chief and the secretary-general of the United Nations on the worsening human rights situation prevailing in Balochistan.

According to the BHRC press release, on the 17th of March 2022, BHRC will organize a seminar on the crimes against humanity perpetrated by Pakistan in Balochistan.
