The human rights groups working to protect and promote the rights of the people of Balochistan have announced to hold a one-day conference on Balochistan in the capital city of Germany on 11 December 2019.

According to the official social media accounts of Baloch Human Rights Council (BHRC), Baloch Human Rights Organization (BHRO) and the Human Rights Council of Balochistan (HRCB), the three organizations are jointly organizing the conference in Berlin, in reference to the occasion of International Human Rights Day.

The conference comes at a time when the Baloch people in Pakistan are facing the worst human rights abuses, being perpetrated by the state authorities. In recent years, the scale and impact of the atrocities have increased exponentially. Many actions of the state in Balochistan come into the category of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.

The distinguished speakers in the conference will highlight various aspects of human rights violations in Balochistan.
