According to a news report published by The Balochistan Post, 16 years old Talal s/o Chairman Dost Muhammad Baloch is reported to have been extra-judicially abducted by the state security forces on 5th May 2019 when he was travelling from Karachi to his hometown Tump.

The report further mentioned of his family members murdered in the past. His father Mr Dost Muhammad Baloch was, in an identical manner, forcibly disappeared on 22 May 2017. His older brother Tahir Baloch was also reportedly shot dead by the personnel of death squads three months prior to this incident.

Various human rights groups including the Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have documented the involvement of the state security forces in the extra-judicial killings and forceful disappearances of Baloch political activists, students, and human rights defenders.
